Brimmond has successfully completed further trials of its new NetJet aquaculture net cleaning pump

In late 2024, the NetJet was deployed to Loch Fyne for a 60-day trial, following an earlier project on a fish farm near Mull. The trials tested several product improvements, and feedback from AKVA Group and its clients was overwhelmingly positive, with the NetJet praised for its ease of operation, efficiency and Brimmond for its customer service and support.

“The trial at Loch Fyne showcased the outstanding engineering of the NetJet and the responsiveness of our technical and engineering teams,” said managing director of Brimmond, Tom Murdoch.

“The extended trial period allowed our team to really put the unit through its paces and implement a few further product improvements.”

The NetJet rental package is supported by Brimmond’s customer support, including a fleet of vans stocked with spares. Brimmond says it is currently the only UK company providing a complete manufacture, rental and support service for high-pressure net cleaning pumps in the offshore aquaculture sector.

Developed in 2023, the NetJet was designed to fill a market gap for an affordable yet high-quality net cleaning solution. Due to high demand, Brimmond has expanded its offering and now provides NetJet units for outright purchase in a variety of engine sizes.
