Kaldara Group is delighted to introduce Coolerboxes, an innovative range of reusable, insulated, and recyclable fish boxes designed to meet the evolving needs of the fish farming and seafood industries.
These boxes will not only comply with future regulatory requirements including reducing single-use packaging by 30% by 2030, with a 70% reduction by 2040, but also deliver long-term cost savings and environmental benefits. Exporters accounting for 90% of fresh fish, who currently rely on Polystyrene (EPS) packaging, will need to seek alternative solutions.
Kaldara Group has invested extensively in R&D, leading to the creation of Coolerboxes, that will be trackable, and deliver long-term cost savings and environmental benefits due their durability and multiple years of use, providing a cost-effective and sustainable alternative that reduces environmental impact.
Kaldara Group will also be launching later this year. Coolertubs, a 460-litre fish tub, insulated with fully recyclable polyethylene foam, is lighter in weight than PE tubs with the advantage of having many better-insulating properties.
