Senegalese Atlantic Ocean tuna fishery’s certification follows a four-year FIP programme

A Senegalese Atlantic Ocean tuna fishery, represented by fishing companies Compagnie Africaine de Pêche au Sénégal SA (CAPSEN), a division of Dongwon Industries, and Senegalese-founded Grand Bleu SA, has become the first fishery in West Africa to meet the Marine Stewardship Council’s (MSC’s) sustainable fisheries standard.
