New research furthers understanding of why sea lice are predominantly attracted to salmon

New research conducted by the Norwegian Institute of Food, Fisheries and Aquaculture Research (Nofima) has enhanced the understanding of why sea lice are predominantly attracted to salmon. The study investigates the chemicals released by Atlantic salmon that serve as attractants to these parasites.
