New Norwegian purse seiner ‘Sulebas’ has been fitted with a new Seapix 3D sonar, a Sodena Ecdis 8, a Sonic Kaijo KCS3885Z sonar and a Sonic Kaijo KSE300 sonar.

The Sonic Kaijo KCS3885Z is one of the latest sonars available from Moltech and is a medium frequency sonar, which is suitable for all types of fishery. It can be delivered with either an 88KHz or 92KHz transducer.
The sonar gives a good detection range, full stabilisation and high resolution.
The narrow beam width means that is performs well, even in shallow waters, and it can also show two separate and independent cross sections.
The sonar can track up to three fish shoals simultaneously, and it is also possible to estimate of fish shoal biomass.
A very robust hull unit, with reliable guide ring, ensures less exposure to vibration.
It comes delivered with the new control panel, with better ergonomics and more functions. It also has an updated design and the possibility to connect an ordinary mouse for increased ease of operation.
Ten separate custom user setups can be stored for different situations and types of fish.
