New, greener tuna catcher for Oman

Acila

Fisheries Development Oman (FDO) has added newbuild Acila to the fleet of its subsidiary Oman Pelagic

Described by FDO as a “cutting-edge fishing vessel”, Acila is the 792nd build from the Zamakona Shipyard in Pasaia. It measures 84 metres in length and has a hold capacity of 1,800 cubic metres, making it ideal for operations in the Indian Ocean, where it will target various tuna species in international waters.
