Making its first ever appearance at the Icelandic Fisheries, Seafood & Aqua Exhibition on stand P37 later this month, Gael Force Group is an established supply partner of robust and reliable equipment, technology and services for the farming and catching of healthy, nutritious seafood. It has a strong presence in the UK, Canada and Europe.
The company was founded in Scotland in 1983, initially focusing on repairing and manufacturing creels. This early specialisation established a solid foundation in the commercial fishing industry, gradually offering a wider range of marine equipment.
Complementing its existing product range and services, Gael Force Group later expanded into the aquaculture industry, becoming a major supplier of mooring systems to fish farms. This growth was further boosted by acquisitions, enabling the company to provide salmon producers with moorings, barges, feeding systems, and a wide range of commercial marine hardware.
Over the past 40 years, Gael Force Group has continually grown stronger, consistently delivering high levels of customer satisfaction while driving innovation and product development in close collaboration with its customers.
Leveraging its technical expertise, today the company manufactures and supplies fully comprehensive turnkey solutions, including pens, nets, moorings, barges, feeding systems and a range of aquaculture technology, all designed for the demanding marine environment. It also continues to provide a complete range of static fishing equipment and creels tailored to meet the needs of fishermen.
Commenting on Gael Force Group’s participation at IceFish 2024, Sales Director, Jamie Young said: “We’re delighted to be attending for the first time. With our extensive experience as a supply partner in the UK, Canada and beyond, we’re excited to connect with fish farmers and the fishing community in Iceland. This event provides a valuable opportunity to discuss how we can collaborate to support sustainable development and growth in the industry.”
