Salmon has firmly established itself as the UK’s most popular fish, with sales increasing by 9.1% over the past year

Figures show that salmon sales surpassed £1.2 billion in the 12 months to June, making up 28% of all fish purchased in the UK. This year-on-year growth has outpaced the 4.8% rise across all fish sales.

Scottish salmon remains the UK’s largest food export, marking a significant milestone in the country’s seafood industry.
