Vala is the CEO of Aurora Abalone, where she leads the company’s mission to revolutionize sustainable shellfish farming using innovative farming techniques. The farm uses geothermal energy and pristine, lava-filtered seawater to produce the highest quality abalone.
With a background in business development at Landsvirkjun, the National Power Company of Iceland and retail leadership at 66°NORTH, Iceland’s most iconic outerwear brand, Vala brings extensive experience in strategic planning, sustainability and innovation.
