The Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition 2014 is open from 10am - 6 pm on Friday, 26 September 2014 and from 10 am - 4pm on Saturday, 27 September 2014. To help you plan your visit we’ve put together some useful and very practical information. If you’ve not yet booked your ticket – don’t worry – you can register on the day at the venue.
The Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition 2014 opens its doors at 10am tomorrow morning. To help you plan your visit here is some useful information:
Venue
Smarinn Sports & Convention Centre, Kópavogur, Iceland.
The venue is only 10 minutes’ drive from Reykjavik and offers almost unlimited parking facilities and plenty of on-site restaurants. Shuttle buses will run regularly between the main hotels and the exhibition centre.
Opening Times
Thursday 25 September: 10am – 6pm
Friday 26 September: 10am - 6pm
Saturday 27 September: 10am - 4pm
Visitor Registration
Visitors can register on arrival in the Main Entrance in Hall 1. Tickets can be purchased on-site with cash or cards for ISK 3,500 ISK. Visitors that have pre-registered on-line can enter through the Main Entrance in Hall 1 or the Fast-Track entrance in Hall 2.
Bus Times
There will be regular morning and evening coach services between the exhibition halls and the main hotels in Reykjavik for just ISK 500 each way. Morning departure times:
Coach 1
Radisson Blu Hotel @ 9.00am
Hotel Centrum @ 9.15am
Hotel Natura (Loftleidir) @ 9.30
Coach 2
Grand Hotel @ 9.20
Hilton Hotel @ 9.30
The same coaches will leave the exhibition at 6.10pm going back to the hotels.
