It will feature two speakers from Scotland, a country very much looking to the future for its core industries.

Amanda Ingram is from Zero Waste Scotland, a not-for-profit environmental organisation funded by the Scottish Government. It seeks to lead Scotland to use products and resources more responsibly, making Scotland a pioneer of the Circular Economy.

Amanda has 25 years’ experience in the development and implementation of waste reduction and sustainable management of resources, both in the UK and overseas. As Circular Bioeconomy Partner for Zero Waste Scotland, Amanda provides businesses support and guidance to develop and deliver technologies and solutions that convert renewable biological resources from land and sea into bio-based food, feed, products and energy. This involves working closely with stakeholders and specialists across the whole value chain to design and strengthen bioeconomy opportunities for Scotland.
