Kristian S. Ottesen academic background includes a Master of Science in Strategy, Organization & Leadership from Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and a Bachelor of Science in Chinese Language and Business Administration, also from CBS.
With nearly a decade of hands-on experience in China, Kristian has honed his expertise in strategic outsourcing and production management within the dynamic garment industry.
Upon his return to Denmark, he took a steep turn into the food sector, driven by a passion for innovation. As a trailblazer in the burgeoning seaweed industry, he was among the first to bring this sustainable resource to a commercial level in the Northern European market.
His dedication to developing groundbreaking seafood products caught the attention of Royal Greenland, where he now plays a pivotal role in unlocking the potential of unexplored side streams from traditional seafood production. Kristian’s mission is to transform these overlooked resources into high-value products, advocating for full utilization and redefining the industry’s sustainability standards.
