The Icelandic College of Fisheries offers a wide range of courses in the fisheries industry at secondary school level. The program is a practical two-year undergraduate program that is structured as one semester at school and the other at the workplace. In internships, we try to offer students a choice of workplace / address, taking into account each person’s field of interest, e.g. fishing, fish processing or aquaculture.
The Icelandic College of Fisheries also offers diverse courses related to fisheries in one way or another. The courses are various, advertised courses in the market are open to all, or corporate courses tailored to the needs of each company. In addition to shorter courses, the School of Fisheries offers advanced studies in quality management and Marel processing technology. The courses have been held in numerous workplaces with good results.
