The Icelandic Fisheries Awards recognises the depth of excellence in commercial fishing and celebrates the outstanding individuals and innovative companies that comprise this vibrant and productive industry sector.
The awards were first introduced in 1999 and the stature of this event has grown over the years. The awards are hotly contested and are now truly seen as an accolade with winners using their success in the awards to promote their company and products.
The 9th Icefish Awards took place on Wednesday 18th September 2024 immediately after the closure of the first day of the exhibition.
This year, the awards ceremony recognised the exhibitors who have been there since the very first Icefish, to celebrate the 40 year anniversary. These included:
