Iceland’s Fisheries News Weekly has been published continuously since the autumn of 1983, or for almost three decades.
The news weekly contains news, commentaries, reviews, and interviews discussing the most important and topical relevant aspects of fisheries industry.
Our goal is to reflect different views and aspects of the debate, for instance in our weekly articles, written by different important stakeholders in the industry.
Every number contains an interview with a captain that provides insight into what’s happening at the fishing grounds at that particular time.
Iceland’s Fisheries News Weekly puts emphasis on a thorough discussion on scientific research of fisheries, as well as covering innovations in all aspects of the industry, the latest development in marketing and news from abroad.

Since early 2008 Iceland’s Fisheries News Weekly has been a supplement to the Icelandic Financial News (Viðskiptablaðið), but its editorial direction and independency still remain unchanged.
