Receiving strong interest from around the world on the upcoming Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition and Events Director Marianne Rasmussen Coulling said there is no doubt this is Iceland's international showcase event.
"This is where business gets done," she added.
"There are less than one months to go and the exhibition team are receiving daily enquiries with 90% of exhibition space already sold. We are really looking forward to this autumn's event, which will boast so many new innovative features."
IceFish has been a fixture of the industry calendar for more than 30 years. It has been held every third year since 1984 at the request of exhibitors and visitors, an interval that ensures each exhibition has new products to display, with visitors ready to invest.
"This year we have more than 500 companies and products being showcased. Direct attendance is up 41% from the 2014 exhibition with direct bookings from 18 different countries. This includes the Danish national stand doubling its space and Norway taking a 50% larger stand than at their last group attendance, as well as the Faroe Islands and the UK both with a larger presence".
She commented that this year's IceFish also brings a number of first-time exhibitors from around the world, including shipyards Astilleros Armon from Spain and Cemre Shipyard from Turkey, plus netting producers Fibras Industriales from Peru and Siang May from Singapore, and reduction gear manufacturer Reintjes.
"The team and I are very excited about this year's exhibition and can't wait to open the doors and welcome all our International and Icelandic exhibitors and visitors," Marianne Rasmussen Coulling said. "I'd also like to remind you that the online visitor registration is now open. Register now, beat the queues, save over 20% and benefit from fast-track entry and badge pick up upon your arrival at the exhibition."
