Icelandic freezing and refrigeration specialist Kælismiðjan Frost ehf. continues to see high demand for its onboard fishing vessel solutions.
In recent times, alongside contracts for the design, development and installation of freezing capacity for the giant, 121-metre Lenin Super Trawler and 81-metre Norebo 10 Vessel Series, Akureyri-headquartered Frost secured a contract from Rammi in Siglufjörður, Iceland, for the design and delivery of all refrigeration equipment for a newbuild designed by Nautic ehf in Iceland.
Frost is designing a new sea cooling system, sludge system and train cooling for the fishing vessel, which will be built at the Celiktrans Shipyard in Turkey.
